Just a quickie... My daughter is saving up for a greenhouse so instead of a big pressie this Christmas I'll be adding to her funds instead. However rather than just slipping some money into a card I wanted it to look a bit more special. I found some tutorials for making origami using paper money. I've used a selection of notes to make different sized Christmas trees and a simple heart to show her she is always loved (of course she'll still have a few little treats to open as well). :D xxx

![]() Created this little something... just because I'll always be a country girl and I don't think I'll ever end up living anywhere else. A few years ago I actually had my heart all set on relocating across the pond to the frozen north (North Dakota to be precise); but guess it wasn't meant to be. I still live in the same village in Suffolk that I grew up in, I still see the same views every day and although some things change, new people and families move in, people and families move out, friends and family have died, been born, got married and moved on... but for me I actually feel very grounded here... generations of my family have lived here ~ it's my home, it has my heart, this is where I belong (well, for now anyway) <3 |
Weird ZebraI'm just a country girl from Suffolk living with my beautiful daughter and 4 cats: EAP The Demonic Moggy, 'El Bandito' and 'Her Royal Highness Princess Pickle-Lily Fuzzy Britches' (yes that is her actual name), and 'The Fabulous Liz Taylor' (actually a tom cat... named after the Denis O'Hare character in American Horror Story Hotel).
