So anyway, I have recently joined Google+ and although it is early days in that I am a 'Billy-No-Mates' and still finding my way around all the facilities, I have now added a good deal of my images as well as links to all my other social networking sites.
I'm a bit of a fan of social networking and truly believe that to get ahead you need to embrace as many ways of getting your name out there as possible - "covering all bases", so to speak. So anyway, I have recently joined Google+ and although it is early days in that I am a 'Billy-No-Mates' and still finding my way around all the facilities, I have now added a good deal of my images as well as links to all my other social networking sites. I've also FINALLY uploaded my first fabric design to Spoonflower, mainly it was an exercise getting to grips with correct sizes, formats, resolutions and repeating patterns. I've also been looking into ordering more postcards from the printers and possibly posters as well. All in all it's been another good day, I really feel like I've been quite productive :D xxx

![]() Gah!! It's been so long since I blogged anything but hey better late than never right? The month of May has so far been absolutely dismal weather-wise so I have fully drenched myself in glorious colours for the Pattern-A-Day May Project #patternadaymay over on Instagram http://instagram.com/weirdzebra/ . I've based this month on digital patterns (using of course Serif DrawPlus) and although I am actually missing using my sketch books I am really loving the variety of patterns and the ease and speed which I can create and replicate them. I've had some lovely comments as well which is so encouraging. ![]() I am seriously needing to get to grips with Spoonflower as some of these patterns would make for some great quirky fabrics, wallpapers or gift wraps. I've also had some really great ideas for other goodies but I can't tell you yet because it's all a surprise... definitely watch this 'multi-coloured' space!! |
Weird ZebraI'm just a country girl from Suffolk living with my beautiful daughter and 4 cats: EAP The Demonic Moggy, 'El Bandito' and 'Her Royal Highness Princess Pickle-Lily Fuzzy Britches' (yes that is her actual name), and 'The Fabulous Liz Taylor' (actually a tom cat... named after the Denis O'Hare character in American Horror Story Hotel).
